We recently designed and facilitated a ‘World Cafe’ style Corporate Planning workshop on behalf of Aberdeen City Council, bringing together ~ 40 leaders from across the organisation.

Idea: as part of annual conference, have top 240 managers from across the 43 national subsidiaries work collaboratively to answer the question.

Idea: bring together everyone involved in a recent major project to capture and share learning and create ‘best practice for projects’ guide.

Idea: Get elected officers, managers and others from across all service areas across ~ 20 authorities to identify where and how to collaborate.

Idea: mix staff from across local council (at different levels and in different departments) to get initial ideas and plan for wider community involvement in answering the question.

Idea: bring customers and providers of services together to better understand each other and identify priorities for spending.
